Jacob, a TYR Sport athlete, is currently training in San Diego, CA with Team Elite Aquatics for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. A backstroke standout out of the University of California, Berkeley, Jacob is an Olympian for Team USA, accomplishing a fifth place finish in the 200 meter backstroke at the 2016 Rio Olympics. In 2018, Jacob co-founded “Back 2 Back Swim Camp”, a two-day elite swim camp geared towards backstroke specialists across the country. He loves staying involved in the swimming community and is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of up-and-coming athletes in the sport!

Michael, also a TYR Sport athlete, and also currently training with Team Elite Aquatics in San Diego, CA for 2020. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, leaving as the most decorated swimmer in the program’s history. Michael has established himself as one of the top freestyle sprinters in the U.S., most recently winning two gold medals at the 2018 Short Course World Championships in Hangzhou, China as part of the 4x50 and 4x100 freestyle relays. He loves that the sport of swimming gives him an opportunity to reach other people and make an impact on their lives!
